Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about our Homeopathy Foundations course

Do I need any prior knowledge to take this course?

No prior knowledge of homeopathy is required. This course is designed for beginners and starts with the fundamentals. If you do have some experience with homeopathy, you'll still benefit from the structured approach and will likely deepen your understanding of concepts you may already be familiar with.

What's the difference between the in-person and online options?

Both formats cover the same curriculum and provide the same materials. In-person students attend classes at our Hillsborough location, which offers the benefit of face-to-face interaction and hands-on learning. Online students join via Zoom in real-time, can participate in discussions, and have access to recorded sessions for review. Online students also participate in breakout rooms for practice exercises. Both formats provide equal access to the instructor for questions and guidance.

What if I miss a class?

All sessions are recorded and made available to registered students within 24 hours. If you miss a class, you can watch the recording and complete any exercises on your own time. We also encourage you to submit questions about the missed material, which the instructor will address in the next session or via email. If you know in advance that you'll miss a session, please let us know so we can help you stay on track.

Will I be able to practice homeopathy after completing this course?

This course provides a solid foundation for using homeopathy for self-care and family health, particularly for acute and first aid situations. Graduates will be able to confidently use the remedies covered in the course for common conditions. However, this is an introductory course and does not qualify you to practice professionally as a homeopath, which typically requires 3-4 years of training. For those interested in pursuing professional training, this course provides an excellent starting point and can help you determine if further study is right for you.

Do I need to purchase any additional materials or remedies?

All essential course materials are included in your registration fee. This includes a comprehensive manual, remedy reference guide, and digital resources. While not required, some students choose to purchase a basic remedy kit to practice with at home. We provide information on recommended kits and offer a student discount through our partner pharmacies. We also have sample remedies available during in-person classes for learning purposes.

What is the refund policy?

We offer a full refund (minus a $25 processing fee) if you cancel up to 14 days before the course begins. Cancellations within 14 days of the start date receive a 50% refund. Once the course has started, no refunds are available, but you may transfer your registration to a future course offering (within one year) for a $50 transfer fee. If you're unsure about committing to the full course, we recommend attending one of our free introductory presentations first.
